“A Legend Filled With Love”: Gurucharan Singh’s Tribute

In his video message, Gurucharan Singh, visibly shaken, said he still cannot believe Dharmendra is no longer with us. Calling him “the most loving legend”, he wrote:

“Dharam Paaji was a kind, humble and affectionate soul. Everyone has beautiful memories with him because he met everyone with love. We love you, and we will always miss you. Waheguru ji’s blessings… Rab Rakha.”

Sodhi Breaks Down on Camera

In the emotional clip, Gurucharan Singh sobs uncontrollably as he pays homage to the veteran:

“Friends, our legend Dharmendra Paaji is no longer with us. I grew up watching him. It is impossible to accept this. May God keep him close… he was a great personality.”

He then narrates a touching incident from an award function.

A Heart-Touching Memory: “Oye, Come Here Young Man!”

Recalling his first meeting with Dharmendra, Gurucharan said:

“I met him at an award function. He was speaking to someone, so I didn’t want to disturb him. I simply touched his feet and walked away. I had barely gone a few steps when he called out loudly, ‘Oye, come here, young man!’

He spoke to me with such warmth, asked about me… I was shocked and overwhelmed. He was incredibly loving.”

“Because of Dharmendra, I Love Sunny, Bobby, Karan and Rajveer Too”

Gurucharan further added:

“Because of Dharmendra Paaji, I developed a love for Sunny Paaji, Bobby Paaji, even Karan and Rajveer. That connection comes from the love this great man carried in his heart. May Waheguru give strength to his family.”
