After Residents’ Plea Reaches CM Yogi, Ganga Water Supply Begins in Noida’s 7X Sector — Supertech Capetown Also Gets Connection
Noida: Ending a 12-year-long struggle for clean water, thousands of residents across Noida’s 7X sectors have finally started receiving Ganga water supply. Acting swiftly after residents’ appeals reached Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, the Noida Authority has launched the supply of 40 MLD (million litres per day) of treated Ganga water to several residential societies, benefiting more than 2.5 lakh people.
Clean Water Reaches High-Rise Societies After 12 Years
For over a decade, residents of sectors 74, 75, 76, 77, 78, and 79 had been using high-TDS groundwater, struggling with both poor quality and inadequate supply.
